Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Part Time (20 hours per week) Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health at the Fort Belvoir-sponsored Family Health Centers in Fairfax, VA.

This contract position offers:

• Monday-Friday daytime hours (flexible scheduling)
• Outpatient Setting

• Administrative position, focusing on referral management, screening patients, and medication management 

Essential Functions:

• Triage patients, eliciting needed information to determine the nature and urgency of Behavioral Health problems.
• Collaborates and plans for comprehensive health care with other healthcare team members.
• Works closely with the Behavioral Health provider team to monitor, track, and manage patients identified as “high risk”. 
• Functions as resource person and facilitate for patients, helps acquaint patient with available community resources, ensure
• Collaborates with Health Center Case Management staff to support on-going case management efforts for Behavioral Health patients with a requirement for Case Management tracking and assistance.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Shall have completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university; and/or graduate of an accredited National League of Nursing (NLN) School.
• 2 years of RN Behavioral Health experience within last 5 years
• Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming and daily nursing functions for outpatient behavioral health.
• Have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing, data entry, and automated records.
